Back to School... After Christmas Break.

No one looks forward to going back to school after Christmas break. Especially when it's the second half of the year and you're dreading all the work to come. Here are a few tips on how to make it a bit easier and keep yourself organized!

1. Give your nails a fresh coat of paint!

Give your nails a bright new color the night before school! Once I give my nails a fresh coat of paint I feel like I could conquer the world! Why not start second semester off with that kind of attitude?

2. Set your alarm 15 minutes earlier.

I know that it's so hard for me to wake up for school after a really long and enjoyable break. So, I recommend setting your alarm about 15 minutes before you would normally wake up! It tricks you into thinking you sleep longer when you press snooze and get catch a few more Z's before your alarm clock goes off for the second time.

3. Pick your outfit out the night before.

This makes getting ready in the morning a billion times easier. I kid you not! Now all you have to worry about is washing your face, brushing your teeth, doing your hair and makeup! Great time saver.

4. Start your morning with coffee!

While tea is great, coffee gives you the necessary caffeine to get you from class to class on the first week of school. Don't be afraid to add your favorite creamer or milk and sugar ;)

 5.  Listen to some great music on the way to school!

To get you into a great mood before first block listen to your favorite music on the ride to school! Maybe an old school song like Baby One More Time or a most recent favorite Timber!

Have a happy first week of school in 2014! Hope these tips can make it a little easier.
